Similar to the Ty Hir Pren design, Cwm Gwyn is a highly insulated timber-framed structure nested on top of an existing barn. It takes advantage of the existing structure yet retains its valuable storage capabilities. The proximity of the barn to the current house allows a glazed link to connect both buildings, allowing for a new open plan kitchen, living, and dining area with elevated views out across the landscape.
